Switch 2 Case – Crystal Clear Switch 2 Protective Case with Shockproof Hard Shell

This clear protective case for the Nintendo Switch 2 fits perfectly and feels very sturdy without adding a lot of bulk. It provides great protection against scratches and minor drops while still showing off the console’s original design. All buttons, ports, and vents line up well and remain easy to use. The case snaps on securely and doesn’t feel loose during gameplay. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and easy to remove when needed. Overall, a solid protective case that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

This clear case fits the Switch 2 well and keeps it safe from scratches. It feels smooth to hold and does not add much weight, so the console stays easy to play. The transparent design lets the original look of the system show through, which makes it nice for someone who likes simple protection. It snaps on easily and stays in place while the system is used or carried around.

The hard shell feels strong and protects the corners and back of the console. The cutouts line up with the buttons and ports, so charging and playing stay easy. The case keeps dust away and reduces the chance of small bumps causing damage. It stays snug without sliding, and the edges feel clean and comfortable during long play sessions.

I recently re-shelled my Switch 2 and Joycon 2’s and the Joycons have a little wobble to them (even though I retained the original membranes), so I wanted a minimalist “case” to help make everything more rigid. This worked perfectly for that! As a bonus, it will protect a small amount of the Switch 2 and Joycons from light scratches. Beyond that, this case doesn’t serve much of a purpose.

Overall, for what I wanted it for, this is perfect and I’m very happy with it.

This clear Switch 2 case, while not extremely heavy duty by any means, does a good job of protecting the system from very light fall damage and scratches to the system. It does have some minor weaknesses, which are more weaknesses of the system itself, but failings nonetheless. Among these are that the back of the Switch 2 has a large portion (probably at least 30%) that has no protection whatsoever. This, of course, was done to accommodate the stand that is built into the device, but does unfortunately leave that part prone to damage or scratches. It isn't a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind. (Additional note, this is also done so it works with the dock, which wasn't important for me but may be important for others)

Other than that, the case works extremely well and fits tightly to the Switch so it doesn't come off during use. It is also made of a high enough quality clear material that it doesn't make your very premium Switch feel cheap by contrast because of cheap plastics.

On that topic, since this is a handheld console, the feel of the case is very important, since it will pretty much live in your hands every time you play it. It isn't going to have the same matte feel that the system has, but after about a minute of use, I had already forgotten that it was there, which is a good sign that it won't bother you at all. Additionally, since it is clear, the black color of the Switch underneath can come through rather than being painted and making the device look cheap.

Overall, with the exception of some minor gripes about the design, this case is more or less perfect for protecting the system from light damage without compromising on the sleek look of the Switch 2. I'd say it's a great value.
